Watching professional matches on GoTV
I started watching competetive cs recently but sometimes i want to watch a player perspective but im forced to see what the caster wants to see. I think that a system from dota, that allows you to watch the game just like watching a friends game on gotv and have the option of hearing a caster of my choice.
Let's make people from valve watch this discussion =D :csgoglobe:

They aren't GOTV, they are an internet stream that the person actually records what he's doing then streams to the internet. If you watch twitch stream inside csgo, they are still streams from twitch.tv, not gotv.

ww.hltv.org sometimes release pov demo's of certain players so you could try there

I don't want to let you watch it. That's it.

People using stream from http://www.twitch.tv/ are recording what they are doing inside their PC, just that they happen to be playing a game.


From what you are saying in this thread, I can extract one idea: Let people from twitch connect what they do inside CSGO to GoTv. But this will need a lot of development, and don't forget people are making money by streaming games on twitch from ads and from donations, something you can't do inside gotv.

This was in CSGO too, with ESL One Cologne. Could watch the matches in GOTV with casters audio.

click tab -> (on the down left) click the setting icon -> enable caster camera control
