Casual mode sucks and it shouldn't...
The problem is you don't have to buy armour, I don't understand why that change was made, there is nothing hardcore about armour. All it means now is you can lose a round and have enough money to buy whatever, like every round there are loads of AWPers because you don't lose money. I hate the whole dynamic of the game, people don't care about dying and it just ruins the flow....

Competitive mode is how it should be, it is way more fun but sadly that is only 5 v 5 and you have to comit to playing for an hour and a half. I just want to play in 30 min bursts, I don't want to comit for that long, so I cannot get the experience I want.

Why not just have competitive mode back to buying ammo like how CS used to be and put armour buying with ammo purchased with the guns in casual mode? Would be so much better than what we have now, at least then losing and winning a round would be meaningful again.

There are just too many modes now that are watering down the player base, it's pretty much impossible to get into a competitive game when you want, I usually wait 30 mins. Why are gun game and whatever other ♥♥♥♥ they've added in the matchmaking system? They should be server browser only, they are not what CS is about, with those and the ♥♥♥♥ new operation, it just feels like CS is becoming dumbed down and a wannabe COD.

COD or other fps games don't have what CSGO has. Competitive and community servers are still the most popular modes in CS. Casuals and Arm Race won't ever replace that, they exist to give more options for playing besides competitive, for trying out more maps etc.. I don't see what's wrong in that.
Casual mode is casual, without the stress of playing too much competitively, without worring too much about tactics and money, just for the focus on warming up, practicing your aim etc. I don't think you could say the Deathmatch mode is a bad idea..

Not many people care about casual, because it is supposed to be casual. It sure would be nice if CTs had to buy kits though. I can understand free armor, but most CT maps are unbalanced as it is and giving CTs free kits makes being CT so much easier.

My biggest complaint against casual is that there is no half time team change. Because everyone always stacks the easy camp side and buys awps and autos to preaim doorways and choke points. The only exception is Dust 2 because camping T spawn with awps allows for easy kills most of the time.

CS came before COD and COD plays very similiar to CS 1.6, because it is much easier to spray in 1.6 and both games used a modified version of the same game engine.

With the exception of the AK and awp all guns were easily spammable in 1.6. The AK was the only automatic weapon that really required aiming and was the only non COD type gun because it required skill to use with sucess.

I was accused of using low recoil hacks on a few occasions because of how easy it is to control recoil and spray in 1.6.

CSGO may not be COD, but it is also not CS 1.6. CSGO is basically a new game with the Counterstrike name and maps. It only maintains a few game mechanics from earlier CS games.

Competitive = Casual
Casual = Super Casual

Play on community servers if you want something different.

IMO the only problem I see with casual actually is the player count. 10 v 10 is stressful, causes unfair encounters and long waits after dying. But I guess it's made so valve can use less servers for a lot of people.

I want to see 6vs6 or 7v7 myself ... maybe make a Semi-Competitive Mode ... it doesn't rank you, but it plays almost completely like competitive. Maybe even have a few less rounds too.

Casual problems are:
10v10 is trash. Get AWPed early on and you gotta wait 3 minutes looking at the screen.
CTs are unbalanced thanks to free kits.
BUY ALL THE AWPS! You are seeing 8-15 AWPs per round. Always.
6v2 encounters
etc

10 v 10 is to many people also, I mean its good for practicing but winning a casual match doesnt
make me feel excited or pumped. It is casual but 10 v 10 is to many players. People dont care about dying, no tactics are used and people just spray like hell. Not much skill and team work is needed in casual. It is just a big tdm.

Yep.
10v10 sucks.
Noobs with AWPs.
And 8 vs 3...
I think there should be a semi-comp mode or something.
The mode is like COMP, but won't affect your MM rank.
5 players, but the same buying at casual. FF is on, and you can see camera views of the other team.

Could be the mode we need for those who want to "warm up" before a comp match.

Well there is a balance in casual mode. You actually get less money each round vs competetive.

The real difference is pistal rounds. No 1 taps from default pistals. Which I find brutal at times. But I enjoy to deagle in casual so eh whatever lol.

Buying ammo wasn't fun. So idk why you're going back like 16 years.

You get less money but you also don't have to buy Kevlar or a kit so it balances out..

The only thing bad about casual in my opinion is that every team has 10 players and there is a really small number of rounds

Play community servers then to practise or something. Casual is how it should be: for new players. And comp is supposed to take long.
to you the same:
