Why have skins suddenly had a spike of price

I think its because of the csgo 2 annoucement and beta but correct me if im wrong

Bc people are scard that there investment will go down so they are starting to sell bc csgo its not a game any more its more for people to make money and invest in csgo skins then the actully game play

that's business basics.

the reason is that cases have gone up quite substantially. now, why has cases gone up? I assume it's bc of price speculation.

So many people are unsure if they price will go down really hard or up so most off the people are taking the lose now and hope they made the correct one

Not everyone, i have one friend that sold everything bc hes scard that hes investment will fall when source 2 its out. Depends on what you have add your investment too, the price that are going up might not be what he invest on.

They can still take a loss if the skin its going up when cs2 its fully release, thats why some people are selling stuff now when its high. Then hope that there skins are not going up really high after the release, im not saying its smart but some people are doing it.
