CS2 knife prices prediction !?

Everyday price is going up in steam market. But suddenly there is a stability. What you experts think ? Will it start to go down after the hype ends. Because sellers can raise the price, but there will be less buyers. Already saw this happening with doppler knives. Even Gut knifes and Navaja dopplers went to 300$+, but now they get sold barely. So will it go down ? Is this the time to sell knives we already we have and wait for the price drop and rebuy ?

ummm i mean, it's a clear no, the buy order for your ursus is more expensive, plus the tiger tooth doesn't have pattern tiers so it's the best version of that knife

meanwhile, his huntsman is cheaper than your ursus, plus it's iirc the worst phase doppler

I just traded it for a Huntsman Gamma Doppler. I hope it will be not a massive L when CS2 comes out. At least I enjoy the knife :D

to be fair i think the market is overbought... i got a horrible m9 forest ddpat and i highly doubt it will touch 600 eur anytime soon, i feel the only reason 500 euro it's in discussion is that the item itself is scarce (which i also think it's fake because there are lots of 1 mil+ inventories which hoarded all these trash knives. if they decide to sell for whatever reason, it's game over).

if whatever valve update does to cs2 will negatively impact skins, market gonna drop soooo hard. and cases? the only reason they are going up in price is that people speculate over each other. everyone buys whatever the current price is hoping to sell them for more for a quick profit). once the buying inertia stops, the market will go down. i would say the buying craze will stop around ~august, september after the major and cs2 hype is over and the crash will happen around pre-winter sale. like some guy posted here... buy skins you prefer and enjoy, not for profit... any profit should be a bonus, not the main goal imo

the butterfly isn't like other knives

for most other knives, you'll see a lot of fluctuating waves, up down up down with a slow overall increase over time, but the butterfly is a one way climb, up up up up

Until they release another case with the butterfly knife in it

im thinking of buying bayonet ultraviolet (ft) but im not sure if i should do it now or later. I red that dopplers will go up in price because they look better in cs2 but dont know about skins like ultraviolet that are one colored or pitch black. Any help?

I'm thinking about this as well. As i see, the hype is over, all knives are going down in price, so i don't think it's a good investment to buy a knife right now. In best case we could break even.
But correct me if you think i'm wrong.

I was watching the value of the bayonet for a while now and from what i saw from the other knifes that after they reached the maximum value they dropped rapidly in one week or less. I cant really tell if the price will go up or down but it is stable on 350€ for a month. I think the knifes that dont have much demand will drop like navaja or gut knife(not mentioning dopplers). And the player base will grow after cs2 comes out. I would give it 2 more weeks and if doesnt drop i will buy it for the 350 euros.

I think prices will settle at about the january-february prices with enough time (a few months).

I wait for CS2 to be public, that will affect the prices, but god knows how... I wait for calm market climate.
