4:3 resolution stretched issues
Good evening everyone. I have a gaming laptop (lenovo ideapad 15ihu6). rtx 3050 + i5 11320H.
I want to set 4:3 resolution(stretched), but I can't because I have always black bars due to in Nvidia control panel missing almost everything except 3D settings. What should I do? lifehacks from internet doesn't help me.

intel HD graphics too, so left click on the desktop, select intel hd graphics settings, go to display, set your resolution to 1028x960and select the stretch image option which will be available once you set a lower resolution than native.

This is standard behavior on laptops, it used to happen to me for old 2D games too. You have to fiddle with the nVidia Control Panel settings. I am on a desktop and I want the opposite - to have the black bars, but I can't make it work, I also have an nVidia GPU.

When I was playing on my PC before I could change from black bars to stretched and opposite with nvidia control panel and some pre launch game preferences but whats going on to my laptop i cant understand.
Maybe it just requires to connect a display via hdmi? But i don't want to buy a new display just for playing cs..

It only helped me to change my desktop settings to stretched and when i join to game, settings also automatically changed to 4:3 and the same resolution as on desktop, but there are still black bars on the sides :(

In game settings change resolution to any, and then change back resolution to what you want to play.
