Do case drops have a determined day for weekly reset?

The items have an algorithm with a bit of randomness and can drop after matches. One item can drop after 1-6 hours within a week. The second drop is not guaranteed and can take a really long time. There are also other factors. If you didn't get a drop last week you will get the first case drop earlier. This can add up. If you have not played for 4 weeks you can get the item drop really fast.

i see. But the information about Wednesday being the reset day is false? i've been playing for a few hours yesterday and today but nothing dropped.

It resets every wednesday but for a reason some weeks you dont get the cases only the drops(skin graffiti)

The drop rate will reset when the week rolls over. The drop reset happens mid-week; Tuesday for NA players and Wednesday for EU players.

Yes it's false. you have to add +7 days from the date when you receive the case drop. You can keep playing after getting first case drop, you have % of receiving second case, if it drops you have to add +7 days to that time when you got the second one.
