A good smurf, that doesn't play with lower rank friends often, can't have a smurf account - Meaning that, if you play solo, you'll end up reaching your 'main' rank again, or so close to it that it ain't even smurfing anymore. I have 2 'smurfs', all 3 accounts have the same rank. They're not even smurfs anymore, I just use them when I get the case drop on my main.
People still smurf, but it's more frequent on Faceit and average ranks (~gold nova).

Faceit Finder shows your account to be in good standing, but I don't know how reliable the calculation is on trust level. You should not be getting those type of accounts, but there's so many that it's impossible. Also, if you play ~1am or later, the more chance you get in getting those players.
Everytime I play after 1am, all I find is Russians, and I'm completely dependent on if they want to play legit or not - This happens when I'm located in Portugal.

If you're in the USA, you'll either get your timezone night owls, which are usually better in gameplay, but also more likely to not be legit. Or you get Argentinian/Brazillian players, whose playerbase is as dirty as all the others.

I partially believe Russians cheat a lot because of Asians. Just like most of us get mad at Russians "for being all cheaters" and decide to turn into a cheater too, I like to think a lot of Russian players and regions close by started cheating because Asian servers are relentless. The main difference in this is the honesty. Russians try to hide it sometimes, while Asians have no problem cheating, and very often in stacked ($kins) accounts, what some call 'legit cheating' - which is in my opinion more annoying.

And VAC is unable to detect them.

I hope so much VAC Live do the JOB.
I hope they release the IA detect anti-cheat in a live process, detecting unatural mouse and movement behavior!

As account age or hours played have absolutely NOTHING to do with trustfactor.

Also there is no simple tweak for trustfactor, you need to show and 'prove' you are worth a high trustfactor by showing good behaviour.

What is good behaviour ? ...NOT EVER DOING ANYTHING BAD.

Thats all there is. There is nothing complicated about trustfactor. Just be a good boy.

People also come from other tactical shooters and CS-like games, especially after the announcement of CS2. CS is very intricate and requires lots of learning, but some core elements (aiming, basic positioning, judging commitment to engagements, etc) are almost universal.

I don't use slurs. I don't vote kick. I don't cheat. Never had bad trust when I enter a lobby. Never been global muted. John McDonald personally checked my trust in December and said it was good.

What am I doing bad?
