HOW THE HELL DID I GET PLACED SILVER 1?

Seriously i only lost 3 games during my placements and they were all because of 2 or more afks. I wrekt these noobs so hard and im always top fragger with the most mvps. i got suspicous because i was still going against silver 1s and unranked by my 7th game. How do these placements work?

stop complaining and rank up then, placements know what theyre doing so if it placed you in silver thats where it thinks you belong atm

Might be those games you lost were against really bad players. I am new to the counter strike scene but not so new to fps games in general. Did placement matches during first two weeks of owning game. Ended up getting silver elite. Only solo'd but luckily ended up in some carrying teams which allowed me to play better.

Now, the reason I say this is that I know I should not be at a silver elite rank and will prolly go down. Matchmaking isnt perfect and if you are better you will go up pretty quickly I woud think.

Placements recently (Thank god for this) have not been placing people into mge+ ranks very often if really at all, because the system seems to be biased (rightly so) to put new players at a lower rank placement, for many reasons. Seems like you didnt deserve silver 1, but idk.

all im saying is that if i am able to get 15 mvps in one game maybe i shouldnt play in silver 1?

ya maybe its like league of legends' rank system but still, i was expecting atleast silver 4
