It's not necessarily to "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" new players.

It's mainly to hide your main identity. Sadly in CSGO most smurfs just exist to have MM games in their favor - which is quite sad. :/

smurf is basicly the opposite. (a good player that plays good in a second account)
