What to do when you have a troll/s on your team?
I just recently had a game with 2 trolls. You can't kick them since you have 2 of them meaning you have to deal with them. In the game I just had they decided to stand in my Moltov, this resulted in me almost getting kicked. Then they decided to stand in my sight resulting me to get kicked and banned. What should I do if this happens again?

Do the same do them, try to make them angry so atleast one of them gets banned, sometimes two.

You can't believe how many times this works. :hmm:

I know it's sad but you cant do ♥♥♥♥ (beside that) :P Luckily i get such people only very very rarely. Don't want to know how it is on lower ranks though :/

Couldn't kick them either way haha. They worked together so it wasn't gonna happen.

Haha tried it for 2 rounds that game, really didn't work that well, but thanks for the advice. Maybe if it happens again ill attempt to try it in a different apporach, of course when the cooldown expires.
I pay the troll toll

First, report them at the first sign of grief. Don't give them a chance to change their behavior. I had a couple of trolls last night. I reported them just as the only other serious player on my team dropped from the game. Left me with 3 trolls and a bot. I choose to continue playing the best I could so I told everyone I was getting trolled in chat. The other team didn't stop kicking my ass, but they weren't rude about it. I joined in the "trolling" by basically letting them troll me and enjoying it. After halftime, trolls ended up leaving and by the end of the game, it was one of the tolls (at least I think he was trying to troll at first), me and 3 bots. We lost, but still had a good game by the end of it.

If you can join in the trolling without causing grief yourself, then do so. At least then you may still be able to have fun with the match. Remember that surrendering counts as 2 losses against your ELO so its better to tolerate the trolls than it is to surrender or quit from the match.

Are you Nova by chance? And was that match on Mirage? I think I was on the other team :o

Yup. Report and keep playing. Dont votekick or shoot them back. They will eventually get OW bans. Oh final thing, dont act mad. They feed on your anger. Thats why they do it.

Last night someone tried to troll our game. He threw flashbangs at spawn and shot at us and chucked the bomb into inaccessable places. I reported him.

Later he threw a molotov to keep us from leaving spawn. I went and stood in it till I died. He got 24 hours cooldown and kicked. His next screw up will be 7 days Off.

I call that BS, no way that surrender counts as 2 losses, and if you dont have a legit source for that please dont spread crap around.

I am Silver Elite for now. I toggle between Silver 4 and Silver Elite. I believe I was 4 at the time of that match and it was that match that I ranked back up to Elite.

Edit: Here is the match I was talking about and we only had 2 bots at the end. I could have sworn it was 3 bots at the end.

Okay, I have heard it from other players who I trust, but here is the official version of what happens. It appears you are correct that surrendering doesn't count as 2 losses, but it sure as hell doesn't help your ELO to surrender.

I assume surrender is better then completing the whole game as the system recognizes that the teams are unfair and thus work to resolve elo points distributions.

From what I got in the link I posted above, it seems a surrender would be less of a drop in points if you are getting stomped, but if you have a BOT, continuing with the match means each win (per round that is) you get counts for more.
