I wanted to go and play CS:GO so I bought the game and installed it and it said "Your Graphics Hardware must support at least shader model 3.0 to run this game".

ask around some of your real life pals. maybe they have an extra GPU that would work for you if they will let you borrow till you can get yourself one.

i typically keep the GPU i last replaced to have in case new gpu goes whacky or if a pal needs to borrow

Well its a referbished, cheap, old card. I couldnt tell you how long it will work or how well. The thing with the 750ti is that it will run any game that is out right now, whereas that fx 3450 (I had a similar card in my old pc) may just be able to run it. In the long run you are better off spending more for a better card than buying a cheap one from 5 years ago.

I currently have this and it works fine on high for me. Upgrade it eventually myself, but it does the job for now.

geforce 9200 is a shader model 4.0 directx 10 card. it's a ♥♥♥♥ card but it will work. go to www.nvidia.com and download the latest graphics driver for your card. CSGO works fine on a 7800 GTX from 2005. It will work on your 9200
