If you cannot cheat in the game at all, then people would be more accepting that the player they face is just a better player !
I mean just today then 1 players was banned, though multiple players on that server was cheating like hell .. only 1 got banned for it, that is how bad the Vacnet is to ban players in real time ..
The trustfactor system with the Ai leading it, is not able to determ between pro level gameplay and cheaters .. and that is a HUGE issue for players like myself, because we dont cheat, we are just that good at the game !
But people like me is lower than 0.1 % of the entire playerbase, the rest of them is just cheaters trying to be like us and it is all the way from silver to the pro scene i see this issue !
and that is what makes people toxic, Even I become toxic and say things i normally would not, when all i see is cheaters ruin the game i love and have been playing for over 25 years now ..
Get Valve to fix this issue and i bet players would be less toxic then ... that is my best advice on it !
toxic player
♥♥♥ farmers
boosted players
unbalance match
So here we are, we have a community of whining babies who screech even on casual mode who start a kick vote for the most minor bullcrap because there is simply no punishment for this. Also the fact that we're thrown into matches with people who don't speak the same language adds a lot of fuel to the fire. When you're searching for matches in a drop down list like in the old times, you tend to pick the languages you can speak.
tl;dr there is no punishment and a lack of community
This is mostly the answer. I would also add that when games go from paid to free, you get a toxic environment as well.
This is why don't even do comp anymore. I always get kicked. I get it of course, comp is more serious and people want to win. But at my age its just a video game. Unless your a CS e-sports team (those even exist still?), its not like you being good at CSGO is going to do anything to your life outside the game.
I also realize I'm not normal as I don't really have a competitive side to me. Sure its nice to win, it feels good. But at my age just playing is fun.
It is okay to be bad at the game, I rather want a player that are bad at the game, than a dumb cheater in the game that run around killing everyone and tell them how noob they are and needs to git gud ..
I used to play on a team back in the day, it was very barebones and the prizes were nothing like they are today. It was more of an extension of a hobby, even with that said we would always wind down by playing on those "fun clan" server where we would be friends with them as regulars, they knew who we were and we did our best to be shuffled and not take it seriously as to balance things out. There was encouragement towards people who were new or not that good, we would say "nice shot" when we got bested from any enemy, etc etc and generally just have a laugh. We wanted it to be a fair and fun time.
Now the mindset is that if you join a casual game, you have people who hop between teams to make sure they're always on the winning side, they don't care about balance as long as they can seal club people they deem lesser and will rub it in. It's completely pathetic behaviour. There is also a big issue with people going in on a premade where they're on discord who ghost the other side, just so they can feel superior and it becomes obvious what's happening. It's very common and it gets confused with cheating but honestly it can be just as bad.
Comp is just not worth it unless you have friends to play with, which I don't. The amount of griefing, team flashes, teamkilling etc is too much. Solo queue is just pure soul crushing. Even though I can still hold my own I just don't bother trying anymore, if anything I pretty much quit the game at this point as it has its other issues too at this stage.
My suggestion is to just try and stick to the more the casual modes like hostage, they generally don't give as much of a crap there and it will give you more time to get used to the mechanics again if it's been a while.

that's the best solution I have to the issue. I mean if you want to keep playing on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers.
as for the reason why everyone is so toxic — I don't know, but I noticed that pretty much all online places, especially big ones, are becoming more and more toxic. CS just doesn't have any moderation AT ALL, so it's comparable to 4chan in this regard I guess.
Cheating has nothing to do with the problema...
Games with no such issue also have toxicity so completly invalid point...
They are too focused on the game, that when something doesn't go right they start to blame their teammates for the stupidest things.
But, there are some Tryhards that will say "GG wp" even after the most humiliating defeat ever
It's not CS2 the only case, every game have these issues someway, and it's best to ignore it, CS2 is a clearly case, but you should know that if you are going to play a competitive game you have to accept the consequences (Anger, encountering these players, etc.)
