playdemo error

I download the match demo D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\replays, follow these steps and complete the installation. When I try to open the demo from within the game, I keep getting [Demo] Requesting playback of 'ff_dust2.dem'
CRealMemoryDemoBuffer::Init: demo file 'ff_dust2.dem' doesn't exist in pathid ''
[DemoFile] CDemoFile::Open: couldn't open file ff_dust2.dem for reading.
[DemoFile] ReadDemoHeader: invalid pBuffer.
[Demo] ff_dust2.dem: unable to extract addons from file gives such an error. How can I solve this problem? By the way, the file downloads as .dem

POV demos go into ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\
CSTV demos go into the replay folder you've selected.

alternatively you can always Shift+Right-click your demo no matter where it's located on your PC and select Copy as path from the context menu and then play the demo via the in-game console with the copied path, e.g.

playdemo "C:\Users\me\Desktop\demoname123.dem"

I did what you said but it still didn't work. I can't paste it to the console. Now I downloaded a demo and put it in the D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\replays folder. But I still get the same error. Is it okay if I delete the game and reinstall it in the c folder?

It doesn't matter whether you install CS2 on the C: or D: drive.

You're in the wrong folder. Put the demo here:

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\
