Most people can't spot a cheater
After playing counter strike on and off for 25 years. Being an admin in a league that reviewed matches to spot cheaters; I can confidently say that I really do not believe that most of the player base can spot a cheater. I used to run multiple sponsored servers, and spent a lot of time watching players, and the cheats have gotten insanely sophisticated now. Even a 10 dollar cheat is pretty incredible and hard to spot, but not impossible... I see players calling blatant rage walling / aim assisting cheaters labeled as "good players with game sense".

Here is the reality. I am hovering around 7k elo where I placed, and there are cheaters on my team and the enemy team in virtually every match. How do I know this? I watch every game I play, and I can 100% say that I find at least 3 cheaters. Even 200 hour account with no aim are walling lol. This isn't a "trust factor" thing, it's a complete lack of a decent anti-cheat thing. I stopped playing CSGO at LEM, because there were so many blatants that it was unplayable.

It's getting old getting cheated out of wins due to this infestation of cheaters. The ones who cant spot cheaters are just newbs to be honest. Take if from someone with ten's of thousand's of hours in cs1.3-1.6, source, csgo, and now cs2, a lot of people are cheating, and you're just too new to cs to even know how to spot them.

Trust factor is a cheap cop out to say "hey we know who is cheating, we just dont want to ban them, well keep them around and force legit players to play with them, thatll teach them for not playing the meta"

Also how do you expect to catch a cheater if you dont know how the game works, let alone how the hacks work.

Im not always right, but I am a good chunk of the time.

Also, freon can cause irregular heart rhythms, stay away from that ♥♥♥♥ especially if you have a family history of irregular heartbeats. I dont care if nova scotia says its completely benign and cant cause cardiac sensitization.

super easy to spot a cheater, people just think that cheaters are a minority rather than a majority(which they're heavily majority", so they think the odds of encountering one is slim to none

exactly right. There are so many cheaters that people think that cheaters are the good players.. This game needs leagues again, instead of this pug bs, that way at least someone is overseeing the games scrims / matches in order to weed out the cheaters from the good players.
Sometimes it's also about the intel cheaters give to their teammates. Like there is no way all the 5 enemies go B when you are rushing B, it's not an accident. Sudden rotations, perfect timings, direct angles, pre fires ...

But they don't know who is cheating. They can probably only ascertain there is a high likelihood of cheating. That's why smurfs also end up in low trust factor as well as high level faceit players that have low xp on their accounts. Valve can't ban them because Valve doesn't have 100% certainty.

I have played through the same eras as you. I really don't think things ever change that much. Cheats existed through every version of CS they're just part of the deal in online gaming. I don't think it's because of a lack of effort to ban cheaters. Countless have been detected and banned over the years it's just the ever evolving nature of the battle IMO.

I don't believe there will ever be a day that cheats don't exist in online games. As soon as one cheat is detected someone finds a workaround. We can never give up trying to eradicate cheating but at the same time we need to accept it will always exist and try and stay ahead of the curve. It's sad but it's just the way it is in all public competitive online games.

Kindly dont make assumption and false statements, there are ton of good players in this game and when you see one you know... there are many layers to this game, how small decision can make drastic changes in a round, where else a silver with cheats cant comprehend that and make dumb moves which to him looks normal but in real anyone who know how to actually play the game looks ridiculous

Perhaps your tiny brain wont be able to grasp that, so i apologise to you :)

Not making assumptions, speaking of position being there. The one who makes assumptions is you. However, I hope you ever get closer to that you speak of.
And here’s an assumption from me.
You are that kind of players with the ego being pro, but you play the no balls game, the only skill you have is to rotate from window to ticket with an awp. You prefer playing CT, because there is an excuse to hide behind boxes whole round and never face real fight, because you are too scared to. I nailed it right! Tell me it’s isn’t the truth. And please don’t explain me what’s the purpose of the game.

About the cheats, yes, the game is full of cheaters, but the point is that 99% of those writing here will call legit player a cheater, just because he outplayed them and they can’t explain it how.
I N F E S T E D...

they dont even try a fake counter-strafe... they play COD in CS2

You act like you're some type of amazing player lol. You have hardly any cs time under your belt. On D2 I am so on fire with a scout that everyone thinks I'm cheating due to my wall banging abilities. You talk like you used to play lans and travel for competitions.

The point is its still easy to spot cheaters, because their game play is unnatural. unless theyre really good, which they are not..

what's the point of writing BS then :DDD
Based on the experience of the game "CrossFire", the clan system and separate 5x5 clan-on-clan battles were a relief from cheaters. You could always complain to the clan leader, attaching a game recording that took up very little space, and after checking by the clan management, which included the most experienced players, the cheater was kicked out of the clan, moreover, a game recording remained in a special topic on the forum, on the basis of which the account and those associated with it were then banned.
P.S. cs 1.5, 1.6, cf and cs2 player.
