Why people gamble ? Wasn't it better to spend that much getting the skins you want ?

Poor education. They weren't properly taught in school about math and probabilities and how gambling preys on the dumb that don't understand the odds of winning are never profitable. They believe they are special and have better chances to "do well".

The only way to win in gambling is quit when you've won more than you've lost...good luck with that as the odds make that impossible and you'll constantly be chasing your losses.

Any smart person invests their money and have their money work for them. They earn more money from their money.
