DLSS 4 was just released, but it's not available for CS2 why?
I don't know if you guys have been able to try out DLSS 4, but it's insane just how good it works, not just image quality but FPS benefit aswell.

Meanwhile we have FSR but even the highest quality of that looks like uttter dog poop, like holy poop someone shoot me kinda of feeling when playing with that on.

So yeah, valve pls fix, let us play with DLSS 4

It has to be implemented first, obviously.

Is it really that reason though?
Seems a bit odd given that we already have NVidia reflex option and FSR from the games release, not to mention DLSS would go a long way to make the performance of the game improve drastically for a lot of players.(myself included)

its probably because FSR is lightweight and everyone can use it, while DLSS requires you to have a RTX card. plus, RTX cards already have great performance on cs2.

That argument i have found before, not officially though, but it doesn't make sense, there is already Nvidia reflex that provides an advantage to nvidia users, and then you can just have superior hardware and run cs2 at 200 fps in 4k game, also giving you an advantage.

And to your point in depends on the RTX card, speaking from experience here since i have the most potato one 2060, and the performance is "ok"

Vast majority of CS2 players are CPU bound rather than GPU bound.
DLSS or FSR3 wouldnt improve the performance all that much unless your the few that play at 1440p or 4k.

also DLSS and fsr3 adds latency which is a no go for competitive shooters.

if and when Nvidia release drivers that support it on all the RTX cards, so that the DLSS can be used on all the card equal no matter wich version you got, then we can talk about it .. untill that happens ? ... naaah i dont think so, because that would be unfair to all the other players that dont have a rtx 4090 or 5090 super powered graphic´s card ..

Then you allso need to get the game developer to call for it and support it and optimize it in the CS game client for it to work as intended, you can have 100000 CPU cores, it wont matter if Valve only call 1 of them to run the game, same goes for the gpu

That's just peak Crab mentality.

I'm sorry but it doesn't make sense, like i said there's people who will shell out 10k for a computer and yes they will have an innate advantage over other players, for that reason alone the RTX players having a better experience over those who don't have RTX is not a valid excuse to not implement it.

Although the AI can generate thousands of fames a second, it means the experience isn't real any longer. Probably better for movie-like games.

CS is best played with FidelityFX Super Resolution and not DLSS. It upscales your lower resolution to improve FPS while sticking to accurate hitboxes.
So a lot of wrong things said there,
Small correction here, DLSS can do both , frame generation and frame "super resolution"
Frame "super resolution" is less taxing in your sytems ( more real frames) and improves the quality of said frames, sharper and better visuals.

FSR is cancer

I doubt reflex really does make much of a difference. compared to FSR, its minuscule in terms of performance.

no, reflex is not for performance... it's so that when you click the mouse you have a substantially advantage on what happens on screen, and it negativily impacts performance, and it does make a diference.
No one cares, kid. Just wait until it's implemented on the game.
Cs2 is CPU heavy, so i don't really see fps gains on using dlss performance unless its from 4k but who plays this game in 4k?
Framegen wouldn't be good either because i need to be able to hit my shots 100% of the time.
Rayreconstruction would be pointless as it's baked lighting implemented in the game.

From what I have seen DLSS 4.0 increases frames alongside latency in other games. Whitch defeats it's purpose for CS as you want more FPS to reduce latency.

I'm ok with playing at a higher latency if i'm playing at a consistent 200 fps
nice
