It depends.

If you're not a lunatic, prices increased because market manipulators removed skins from the market to artificially increase its value.

If you're a wanna be economist from steam community, prices went up because the demand was too high for the available supply.

It's only going to go up in price, the glove case no longer drops, and the the lower tier skins will get bought to craft the higher tier skins

I fell into the fomo and bought more of the skins in good price, see you guys in a year

lol all of the Famas skins has gone up in price. A famas skin I have that would have previously gotten me no more than $2.50 is now starting at $19.

Price increases may not be as dramatic as they seem because the market is currently bugged and no new listings have been showing up for the last 24 hours. When that is fixed a lot of new listings will suddenly appear and the price will drop again, though probably not all the way back to where it started due to the increased demand.
