What’s Next for CS2? Cosmetic Updates and the End of Operations
It seems that Valve is shifting its focus toward refreshing the Armory each year with new skins and cosmetics, rather than releasing full-scale operations. This could be the direction for CS2 over the next couple of years. Instead of the major operations we’ve seen in the past, Valve might be opting for a more consistent stream of cosmetic updates, such as skin collections, battle passes, and seasonal content.
If this model continues, it would likely feel like a more frequent, cosmetic-driven update cycle, with new content and limited-time events keeping things fresh. However, this also means we might not see the same type of operations in the near future. What do you think—would you be satisfied with regular cosmetic updates, or do you still miss the bigger operations?

Next for CS2 is Valve thinking of new ways to make more money while ignoring the real issues of the game.

The game died already because of that, only people left playing each day are ones with issues.
