Odds of getting a knife
As we all know, the odds of getting a knife is super low. So low that I don't believe it is worth it to buy cases. So a question popped up in my mind:

Are the odds of being gifted a knife larger than the odds of getting a knife with cases?

1. No one will gift you a knife and if you see here so called ,,knife giveaways'' it's just fake to farm points awards.
2. It's all about luck when it comes to cases as this is gambling after all.

"I don't believe it is worth it to buy cases" the odds of getting a knife are ~0.25%, meaning in every 385-400 cases opened (costing over $1000 accounting for case prices and key price) on average you will get a knife. It is definitely not worth it.

Buy a knife instead if you really want one.

You can open 1 revolver case and u have a better chance of getting a 387 Float ST FN Karambit Case Hardened with a 0.00420133769 GC, than someone adding you for just gifting you a Knife

Receiving a knife as a gift is practically zero, no one wants to share money, this is normal. Unless someone you know or a friend gives you a knife as a gift. Alas

I realized this and now I play on the p2e project, I started this year and I'm slowly striving for my first knife (I haven't had knives or gloves in 7 years of playing), better late than never

100% of those giveaways are fake anyways lol. they gift the knife to their other accounts.
