Crouch jump bind 2025
Does someone have a working crouch jump bind?
I've been using a crouch jump
bind key "+jump; +duck;"
since I first started playing in counter strike source, and I literally can't do movement without it. Please help

You just need to press space and ctrl, It's not an quantum mechanics.

I have over 10 years of muscle memory of just pressing 1 key to do that. It's not that simple bro

when Valve banned SnapTap (a keyboard function that makes counterstrafing always 100% accurate) they also took measures to make null binds impossible to make.

for that they've made it impossible to bind certain actions in conjunction with other actions, for example if +moveleft is bound to a key and something else is bound to that same key, moving to the left won't work with that key.

this also affects +jump and +duck commands, which is why OP's method doesn't work.

well even if they work (which I haven't seen confirmation of yet anywhere) they get constantly kicked because of that snaptap detection

also if null autoexecs work maybe you can write a crouch jump bind like that? or if you can share it with me maybe I can write something that works

I've had to relearn after years of having it bound too. Shouldn't take longer than a week or two. The consistency just dropped from 100 to 99% but that's a skill issue on my part I'll get rid of with muscle memory and time.

Valve seems very adamant about keeping multi binds out of the game so now is the best time to learn.

Nulls still work by utilizing a complete nonsense command that shouldn't even be in the game. Also, you only get kicked if the actual keyboard inputs are detected to be using snaptap, the autoexec method doesn't cause kicks.
