Bring back classic usp-s and m4 models?
Hey guys,
Many of you playing a lot cs2 and many of you own some skins in the game. You guys probably have noticed that some guns in the game have different models. For example, if you use skin for usp-s from some older cases the model will differ from the new version of usp-s. And I know tastes differ, but these new models really look worse then old usp-s and m4 and every time I scroll through workshop it pisses me off. And I was wondering if we can ask devs or at least highlight this thing to maybe bring the old models back in game. My point is that, the models are still in the game and you can still use them right, so why not give workshop creators a chance to make skins using old models, or maybe make some setting to chose between “classic” model and the new one. There are some absolute banger skins for m4 and usp in these new cases but these roundly shaped guns and additional stuff just ruins it in my opinion. What do you guys think?

This is a new standart of models, everything was changed to this one.
There won't be any regress, more like slightly improving current ones.

Yeah you right. It’s just a lil weird. I know they try to bring a new standard models and stuff, but I literally can still use the old ones and well they made it on purpose, so they are fine with us playing with old models if we want, but if I want to create a skin in workshop using old model, that’s a no. Idk Valve sometime doing such random stuff…

There wasn't any purpose. Some original skinmakers just didn't remake for s2 versions by different reasons.

Oh, I didn’t know that. Anyways good for me I guess, cuz the old skins are so much better to my mind… thanks for info

I prefer some old models too, but i think they'll just change them to new standarts by themselves eventually.

Valve literally could've packaged the old models and put them in a "retro" case, and almost nobody would bat an eye.

Knowing valve, you just gave them another great money laundering idea
