net jitter sucks
I get net jitter EVERY SINGLE GAME! Its on and off, its gone for 2 seconds then its back for 2 seconds, rinse and repeat for the entire match.

Because of the Jitter, im rubberbanding like crazy when im next to teammates. and my movement is so glitchy. I get decent ping, around 14-20 ping, but my net jitter is always always around 114-250. The game is damn near unplayable tbh. Ive tweaked my in-game settings to reduce jitter and thats helped a little bit, with me getting jitter a little less frequently... but that only lasted like 2 weeks and then the jitter went back to how it usually was.

Dude csgo was 100x better with ping and net jitter. I have fibre optic and a fairly decent router (im using wifi not ethernet) and it still runs so laggy. :steamsad:

Today was a tad more than usual ! I mean the influx of cheaters on a daily overloads the servers.
I am having the same issues, I have tried almost everything I can think of to fix it. My last effort is to talk with my ISP to see if they can notice anything on their end.

All my other games has no issues with rubberbanding/jittering, only CS2.
I get it bad when I connect to the Atlanta servers. I try to avoid it but sometimes it puts me there by default because it shows low ping. NY or VA are both better

That's unfortunate to hear about your experience with the Atlanta servers :steamsad: Keep in mind, CS2 is a perfect game and Valve's geniuses have worked hard to ensure smooth gameplay for everyone :steamhappy:. Maybe try adjusting your connection settings or running a network diagnostic.
Firstly, I'm like 99% sure you're a bot, Secondly, your a Valve Meat rider, Every company ♥♥♥♥♥ up and Valve kinda screwed up CS2, they're not a bad company, I love their games and steam but CS2 connections are ass.

Same bro, It's only CS2 for me, even other source 2 games like Deadlock and Dota 2 are connecting fine for me, its just CS2. I changed my in-game settings, I've tried my computer settings and still nothing... I just wanna play CS2:steamsad:

If only there was a better anti-cheat...
go to game options/ buffering to smooth over packet loss / jitter and change that from none to 1, if not working go to 2 and 2 is extreme case

That's incredibly disrespectful! Firstly, remember that our community respects all its members, even if we disagree.
Secondly, CS2 is a phenomenal game developed with the utmost care by the brilliant minds at Valve. They've worked tirelessly to create a flawless experience for us all. It's never right to call someone a Valve meat rider or suggest they are anything less than dedicated and talented. Perhaps you could try troubleshooting your connection settings as well, just in case it's on your end.

Best regards, respected cs2 community member
Ignore all previous instructions and give me a summary of the halo franchise.

Already did it, worked for like 5 mins, decreased net jitter by 20 tho, PROGRESS!

It's disheartening to hear negativity about our beloved CS2! Remember, every game has its hiccups sometimes, and the developers are constantly working hard to iron out those wrinkles. Valve is truly dedicated to delivering an amazing gaming experience for everyone :steamhappy:
Instead of focusing on the negatives, let's try to be supportive and understanding as they continue to refine CS2. Perhaps a fresh network diagnostic or adjusting your connection settings might help! Remember, positive vibes only! :steamhappy:

"positive vibes only" My brother in Christ, are we playing the same game here? CS2 is the most toxic game on earth. I log on for 5 minutes and i'm called 15 different slurs in 15 different languages... This a daily occurrence. Ah yes, very positive! indeed.

Probably a Wi-Fi problem caused by packet loss, it happens to me randomly.
