I take it Steam support all work in India? (VAC/CSGO related)

So the endless VAC disconnects due to some mystery problem stopping it lead me to give up on CSGO again recently. Steam support sent me copy/pasted responses and close the case by saying PAY some local PC tech to look at my PC to then VAC would work. Which we will ignore the fact a PC tech isn't going to know what the problem is, I say this as a PC tech lol.

Anyways, since they closed the case I opened a new ticket and sent a lengthy (but friendly) message basically saying (in short) "So I bought a game, but have to pay someone else to fix it instead of Valve fixing their own game? If VAC is conflicting with something on my system then that means VAC literally is able to see what program/file is causing the issue. Why are there no VAC logs that state this info?"

Their response? The EXACT same message I got the first time I messaged them. Literally a copy/pasted response. No addressing anything I said. This leads me to think Valve support is probably based in India as, no offense, most INdian tech support people do not know how to think on their own and fix anything. They just respond with copied responses from a Word document they are given.

Making support useless. I mean I realize Valve doesn't care about customers that much. Despite some great sales, they do little to fix their own issues. So outsourcing support to India seems about right.

Can you imagine you bought a video card and had an issue and the company (lets say Nvidia) said "Sorry your having an issue but you may need to pay someone to find out whats wrong!" >.>

Most of their employees believe it or not are American.

As a lead blooded, gun tootin American myself.... That's not a good thing lol. Support is hit or miss. They can be WONDERFUL or absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. No middle ground. Don't ask how i know, but Valve are looking into gutting their support team and rehiring......... If that says how many under-qualified idiots are working in the department.
