Remove the SSE4.2 requirement so everyone can play!

You are bringing an update to the game, but why do you want a system requirement that not every computer can run in this huge update? You make the game for free, you require a certain processor support, and you victimize the players due to cheats. Have you become that much of a slave to capitalism, VALVE?!

Dude, my processor is AMD PHENOM II x6 1055t. And since this processor does not support SSE 4.2, the game never opens. I am extremely disturbed by this issue.
I've been playing Counter-Strike for years, but what these guys are doing is seriously ridiculous!
They have been making the game for free, they have not been able to produce a solution against cheats for years and the most ridiculous part is that they do not allow the game to be opened on computers without processors that support SSE4.2.

Are you serious ? This processor you mentioned easily opened even games with powerful graphics such as BF4, BF1, DOOM (2016) etc.

Being able to "OPEN" games isn't enough for most players. Doom 2016 is an extremely well optimized game, and it came out in 2016, if you hadn't noticed, we are in 2024. Cs2 released 7 YEARS after doom 2016. You can't expect modern applications to support a cpu from that long ago as developers target the most common hardware, which according to steam survey https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/Steam-Hardware-Software-Survey-Welcome-to-Steam
99.72% of players have a cpu that supports SSE4.2. You're in the minority of the minority. Just buy a used system that can play this game, it would cost you like 100€ total anyway.

I understood what you said, but I found it strange that you used the date above when my processor was released to determine whether the games would run or not.

Your CPU is a relic at this point and you cannot expect software developers to keep on supporting old hardware.
at most, you can see if your motherboard accepts the AMD FX lineup of CPUs and get a CPU that will be able capable of addressing AVX and SSE4.2
