Solution to 15:15 "Ties" in CS:GO
Is anybody else sick of spending alot of time and effort on a competitive game only for it to become a tie and nobody wins ? I think this could be easily sorted by having an additional round where perhaps you can only use knifes .

Anybody have any ideas on how this could be sorted ?
Or am I just overthinking this ?

Or we can have overtime like every professional match.

Why do we need this? Both teams are getting some elo points with a tie. You can also get an uprank after a tie.

Yeah, its esspacially sucks when you are 15:10 or so behind, because you know it can only become a draw, even if you win 5 rounds in a row. Thats always a little bit annoying.

There should be a knife round to choose which side your team plays on and overtime rules as best of a set number of rounds. No reason to ever end a game in a tie or lose because you got placed on the wrong side of the map.

Agreed , it can de-moralise the team.

Not the biggest problem with servers:
1. Bomb timer
2. Round timer
3. Tick rate
4. Team damage forgive option
5. Knife round
6. Overtime

That is not mentioning different MM for 5man groups

If you are easily demoralized by a game you may need to seel professional help.

Hey now, I talk to myself all day about my mental problems. We both usually disagree.

Well it I believe the elo points can count towards a loss.
If enemy team is lower ranks than you it will look like a loss.
If the enemy team has higher ranks then you it will look like as a win for the reason you are able to rank up from a tie.

I love it when it ties 15:15, unless I'm doing a mission.

just change comp. to 31 round per game..

Or overtime like pro matches ? as a lot of people said before me ; it is the best solution:tank:

But then you would have to win 17 rounds to get the majority
