anyone had the same problem with Cs 2?? my game crash every time when i died and when someone that i am spectating died at premier match. or sometimes when i switch to spectating teammates

go check windows event display and search for cs2. you will find the reason why this game crashes in the logs. second u can do is repair the cs2 data over steam client.

Same, constant crashing. My windows events just list cs2 as an error with the process hanging and zero other details.

there might be an error on RAM - check if there are problems with it. if u already tried to repair cs2 and reinstall cs2, then did u install something like msi afterburner or rivatuner? these programs can interfere with games so that it can delay the game or ever let it crash. Update your drivers like GPU CPU.

i dont really think that it is hardware related. u play other games and these games dont have issues, right?

For some reason turning on VSync and setting your max FPS to the same Hz as your display has stopped the crashes for me.

There's some kind of memory issue with a font that gets drawn when you die or are spectating. It's probably a valve problem and will be fixed by tomorrow. This is happening to people on both windows and Linux, AMD and NVidia.

i play other games but i never had this issue before its the first time, it just appear yesterday the first time crash cause i was switch between spectating teammates , then the game start to crash when i died or someone of my teammates

On same boat as the OP.
After the update of today, If I die at some moment, entire game crash. Screen Frozen.
Keyboard unresponsive.
I need to restart the whole Steam to be able to exit and enter again.
Ubuntu 24.04.02
RX 6600. Amd drivers installs automatically with OS updates.
16 GB Ram.

OMG VALVE FIX THIS.

Crashing on every kill cam, mine or even teammates when spectating.
I found out during a game and it did cost me the game as crashes started happening on every single death.
