cs 2 fps drop

Hello, I updated Counter Strike 2 a few days ago, but now the game has become unplayable. There is a 15-20 second fps drop in each hand. I play on a laptop and I get 60 fps on medium settings. Because of this 15-20 second drop, my fps suddenly drops to 5-10 fps. It is really annoying and it has started to lag in other games as well. Is there a way to fix this?
