Disconnected by VAC

Hi ! When playing in deathmatch mode, I am occasionally kicked off the server with this message: "You cannot play on secure servers for one of the following reasons: A computer problem is blocking the VAC system. You cannot maintain a stable connection to the VAC system. You are using software that modifies the game or is incompatible with the VAC system." And right after this second one: " Valve's anti-cheat check time has expired. Make sure you are not using any programs that may interfere with the operation of the game, and that Steam is installed correctly."

I never in my life used any cheats. Recently, out of curiosity, I asked chat gpt to make a config for me with some cosmetic changes, but then I returned the factory one. My account has prime status, more than almost 15 years already. Why is this happening? I noticed it happens when I`m on relatively good streak (in terms of my common game level) but absolutely nothing extraordinary - like 37-23. At the saem time I regularly face players with like 70 to 20-25 stat by the end of the session and for some reason vac doesn`t kick them. It`s kinda offensive as I usually do like 42-38 or smthg like that, or one to one or even with a negative coefficient not very rare. It`s like game doesn`t allow me to get better. So what is going on?

Thank you but I ofc I did it all. My question is why it is happening? Maybe some admin does it I just don`t know what to think. It is very annoying at least.

Virus programmes can do that fire walls if you are on a network that blocks some things would also do it i guess.
Is it a windows 9 10 11 linux mac?

I`m on win 11, avast free, I checked - I have no any restrictions for any steam/cs2 files in avast firewall, also I regularly scan pc with Malwarebytes for viruses, latest windows updates as well.

I`m on win 11, avast free, I checked - I have no any restrictions for any steam/cs2 files in avast firewall, also I regularly scan pc with Malwarebytes for viruses, latest windows updates as well.

Avast free will be doing it try running it without avast for a hour :D you dont need avast really i used to use it over 10 years ago now windows covers everything like that.

I'm in the same boat. Fresh install of Windows, updated all my drivers and don't run any AV other than the built in Defender service. I've been getting this message randomly.

Thats your answer! Windows Defender is all you need. Deinstall avast...

Did you make any custom configs recently? Like changing buttons etc, adding some console commands for optimal network settings?

Ok, I`ll try, though RixkyBiscuits in this tread said he doesn`t have any AV except windows defender and still has this problem with valve anticheat.

Yes I most certainly do. I just built this PC about a month and a half ago. Installed Windows, updated all my drivers, and installed Steam and CS2. I've done quite a bit to identify the root cause and can't seem to find it. If you come across something, please share.
