The CS part of valve has never been a good company. They are pretty much as evil as it can get, while also making stupid decisions like this. So i'm not surprised at all

I've been playing since 1999, but probably not paying a lot of attention to the goings on of it. This is the first thing thats pissed me off lol

The only other maps I played were Aztec and Assault, I can't try new maps. I don't have the mental fortitude.

I have a VERY simple solution to this..

1) Go to Competitive
2) ONLY select Dust2
3) Now you're playing only Dust2

This is a highly guarded secret, I have a connect at Valve that tipped me off.
Have fun with the secret, 24/7 Dust2 playlist

I will never understand this argument. How is it bad for the game if we allow that "small minority" to play what they want, when they want. It's not like dust 2 is some virus that will instantly wipe away everything you hold dear when you play it, so why does the community treat it as such? Counter Strike is a video game. A hobby for the majority of people. So why should the community dictate how we should enjoy our own ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hobbies??

I feel like the community is being a bit too dramatic, which is not a surprise to me. They became so fixated on winning or being competitive that they forget to look at the larger picture. Which is that this is just a hobby for people to enjoy casually with friends after school or work. At least that's how I see it

You forget that some people aren't blessed with having enough free time to sit down for however long a game of comp is without being interrupted. Let's not forget that some people (like me) live in the oceanic regions where queuing into a game of comp is a rare sight for any time before 7pm...

Not just a "Billion dollar company", but a company that people tend to forget that profits most off of taking advantage of gambling and scamming. They don't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about us as long as they make profits. Two amazing examples of this is the absolutely embarrassing lack of anti cheat (won't stop people from buying skins in the end), and the shutdown of classic offensive (will take away attention from CS2)
