Wrong Steam Account Linked – Need Help Changing It
Hello,

I accidentally linked the wrong Steam account to my FACEIT profile. After realizing the issue, I created a new FACEIT account and tried to register it using my passport, but it says I have already registered before.

Currently, I can't change the Steam account on the first profile, and the second one doesn’t allow me to verify my identity again with the same document. I haven’t played any matches with FACEIT on either account.

Could you please either:

Help me change the linked Steam account on my original profile,
or

Delete the old profile so I can verify my new account with my passport?

Thank you for your support

That's a bit of a pickle! It sounds like you need to get in touch with FACEIT support directly. They'll have the tools to help you sort out this linked account situation.
You can usually find their contact info on their website or through the app itself. Good luck getting it sorted! :steamhappy:

Thanks For Reading My Insight.
First of all, I have never played a match on FACEIT. I did install the software, but I haven't been able to play any game on it yet. So I really don't understand how this could be related to FACEIT.

Despite this, I received a VAC ban from Steam/Valve. I would like a more detailed and clear explanation regarding this issue.

If possible, please provide me with a direct link or method to contact someone for further clarification. I am ready to explain everything about my account so the issue can be found and resolved, and the ban can be lifted if proven incorrect

That's certainly unusual! It sounds like there might be a misunderstanding. VAC is flawless :steamhappy: and embedded directly into CS2. It accurately identifies any attempts to cheat.
Could you provide more details about when you received the VAC ban? What were you doing in-game at the time?
Remember, providing accurate information will help us get to the bottom of this.

Subject: VAC Ban After Reporting Cheaters in Premier Match

Message:

Hello Steam Support,

I am reaching out with great concern regarding a VAC ban that was placed on my account shortly after I played a Premier match in CS2.

During that match, I’m confident that at least 8 out of 12 players were cheating. They were using blatant hacks like wallhacks and aim assist, and I could barely play. I managed to get maybe one kill the entire game. I was actively reporting players using the in-game system while typing in the chat and trying to alert others. I didn't want to leave the game and risk a penalty, so I kept reporting and playing.

The situation was very frustrating — some players even mocked me and tried to provoke me during the match. Eventually, I quit the game out of frustration. The next day when I opened Steam, I was shocked to see a yellow warning that said I had received a VAC ban. At first, I thought it was a temporary suspension due to that lobby, but then I realized it was a full VAC ban.

Right after that, I submitted a request through the CS2 support section, and it said the review may take 14 days. Unfortunately, I haven't received any response or update since then.

I strongly believe this may have been a mistake, and I kindly ask for a thorough investigation into my account. I have never used any kind of cheat or tool that would give me an unfair advantage.

Please review my case again. I’m ready to provide any additional information if needed.

Best regards,

Didn't you understand? I don't think I was on FaceIt. I was just on Steam. I had made a FaceIt but I hadn't played it yet.
