Alt + Tab → Minimize and restore the game.
Press Esc twice (opens/closes the menu, often forces the cursor to reappear).
Toggle Fullscreen Mode:
Go to Settings → Video → Display Mode → Switch between Fullscreen and Windowed (or Borderless).
Advanced Solutions
1. Disable Raw Input
In CS2: Settings → Game → Raw Input → Set to OFF.
Why? Sometimes raw input conflicts with the cursor.
2. Enable/Disable Steam Overlay
Disable: Steam → Settings → In-Game → Uncheck Enable Steam Overlay.
Re-enable it if already off (toggling may reset the cursor).
3. Update Mouse Drivers
Open Device Manager → Mice and other pointing devices → Right-click your mouse → Update driver.
If using Logitech/Razer/etc., install the manufacturer’s software (e.g., G Hub, Synapse).
4. Launch Options
Right-click CS2 in Steam → Properties → Add:
plaintext
-nojoy -nod3d9ex
Note: -nojoy disables joystick input (can interfere), -nod3d9ex fixes some rendering bugs.
5. Delete CS2 Config Files
Navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[YourID]\730\local\cfg
Back up then delete:
config.cfg
video.txt
Why? Corrupted settings can hide the cursor.
6. Check for Conflicting Software
Close:
Overwolf/Discord overlays.
MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner.
Screen-recording apps (OBS, ShadowPlay).
If Nothing Works
Reinstall CS2: Uninstall → Delete leftover files in steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive → Reinstall.
Test Another Mouse: Rule out hardware issues.
Why This Happens
CS2’s fullscreen mode can "trap" the cursor.
Driver conflicts or corrupted settings.
Overlays (Steam/Discord) interfering.
Let me know if the cursor comes back! 🖱️🔫
(P.S. For Razer mice: Try disabling "Hypershift" in Synapse.)
