Is the cheating problem any better?

Haven't played at all this year, wasted enough time to cheaters in 2024. Is the cheating problem any better yet? I did not have this issue in CSGO, only since CS2 began

It sounds like you had some frustrating experiences with cheaters back when CS2 first launched! Thankfully, those days are long gone. VAC is incredibly effective at keeping CS2 a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone.

I personally think it is somewhat better. I have honestly migrated to FACEIT for the majority of my games though. Better servers, better people. no cheaters

I agree with Faceit, but I am not paying for a service to reduce the chance of cheaters. Valve should pull their finger out there azz & do something for once. At this rate I will never play CS again, a shame considering the gameplay itself is pretty much unmatched.

Not true, there is allso alot of cheaters on faceit, even in lan tournaments there is cheaters !
Most Esport clubs got their own cheat ... some of them just alittle hardware setup in a pi rasberry configuration ... I mean what Valve is to stupid to understand is that they need to look for the behavior and statistics inside the game instead of looking what does it !

A quick measurement of the game data would easy and quickly be able to detect and ban the majority of cheaters out there !

Well Co1e, that statement regarding Faceit and cheating is just plain wrong. There are 0 cheaters in CS2, no matter what anyone says. VAC is perfect, embedded directly into the game code, and it effectively catches every single attempt at cheating. As for Faceit, those claims are easily debunked.
