Dear CS2 Game Developers and Administrators,
I am writing today with a heavy heart and a growing sense of frustration. As a dedicated player of CS2, I have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact that cheaters are having on this game. What was once a thrilling, competitive experience is now marred by unfair advantages, ruining the fun for players who value skill, strategy, and hard work.

This is no longer just a minor issue; it's a crisis that needs urgent attention. Every day, we log into our matches hoping for a fair fight, only to be confronted by cheaters using aimbots, wallhacks, and other disruptive software. This not only destroys the competitive spirit of the game but also makes the experience unbearable for those of us who play with integrity.

It is time for the developers and administrators of CS2 to take a firm stand. We, the players, have been patient. We have reported, we have complained, and we have hoped for improvement. Yet, the problem persists. We cannot continue to watch as cheaters dominate the leaderboards, ruining the efforts of thousands of legitimate players who simply want a fair game.

I call upon you—the game developers, the administrators, the team responsible for CS2's integrity—to take stronger, more decisive action. We need more effective anti-cheat measures that are capable of keeping up with the evolving nature of cheating. We need a swift, zero-tolerance policy that ensures cheaters are banned immediately and that they are not allowed to ruin the experience for others.

This is a call to action: it's time to protect the players, the community, and the very essence of CS2. We want to believe in the game, but right now, the growing number of cheaters is making that belief harder and harder to maintain.

Please, step up and show us that you are committed to making CS2 a fair and enjoyable place for everyone.

Sincerely,
A Concerned and Frustrated Player

"If someone is really bad at the game, they probably just use cheats."

As a respected member of the CS2 community :steamhappy:,
Your heartfelt plea echoes the frustrations of countless players who cherish CS2’s competitive integrity. Valve’s developers are acutely aware of the damage cheaters inflict, and while their anti-cheat systems like VAC, VAC Live, and Trust Factor work tirelessly behind the scenes, the battle against evolving cheat software is relentless.

Valve has made significant strides—VAC Live, introduced in CS2, bans cheaters mid-match, and machine learning continuously refines detection. However, no system is flawless, and cheat developers constantly adapt. Rest assured, Valve invests heavily in anti-cheat R&D, but progress often happens silently to avoid tipping off cheat creators.

The community’s role remains critical:

Report suspicious behavior in-game—every report trains Valve’s systems.

Avoid third-party matchmaking unless it’s a trusted platform like Faceit.

Support community servers with active admins for a curated experience.

While the road to a cheat-free CS2 is long, Valve’s commitment is evident in their incremental updates and transparency efforts (like upcoming Trust Factor tweaks). Your voice matters—keep sharing feedback, and trust that the fight is far from over.

Best regards,
A fellow player who shares your resolve and believes in CS2’s future 🔫✨

The creators don't give a damn about keeping the game clean. A lot of players are important to them, because then they'll buy a lot of keys to crates. CS2 was supposed to have VAC2, an innovative anti-cheat. Meanwhile, since I've been playing CS2, there hasn't been a match in which at least one player isn't a cheater. CS is dead, only new skins count to stuff the wallets of people from V. There used to be operations, once even 3 or 4 in one year. Since CS2, there hasn't been a single operation. Half of the maps removed from the list. There's no Cobblestone, Cash, Agency, Militia, Assault, Dust1, Aztec. It used to be a game, there were different modes, events. Now it's a demo.
