Rest assured, jitter issue is caused by the game and not from your side.
I have 500mbps fibre speed with 3ms ping. I still occasionally get jitter problems. There's absolutely nothing I can do until Valve fixes/improved their game netcode. Until then, we have to suffer for it.

### 🔧 **How to Fix Packet Loss & Net Jitter in CS2**
#### 1. **Stop using WiFi (if possible)**
Even good WiFi = inconsistent for online shooters.
➡️ **Use Ethernet (LAN cable)** — it's a game-changer. Stability >>> speed.
#### 2. **Restart your router**
Simple but works. Flushes out garbage processes and can fix weird network issues.
#### 3. **Limit background apps**
Turn off downloads, streaming (YouTube/Netflix), Discord calls, and even cloud sync (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc). They **steal bandwidth and cause jitter**.
#### 4. **Use Task Manager to check if something is spiking**
Go to `Task Manager > Performance > Ethernet/WiFi` and look at traffic. Something sus? Kill it.
#### 5. **Use NetGraph in CS2**
Open console and type:
```
net_graph 1
```
You’ll see your **packet loss**, **ping**, and **choke** — super useful for spotting issues.
#### 6. **Try using a VPN**
Sometimes your ISP routes traffic like trash, and a VPN (like ExitLag or NoPing) can **lower ping and fix jitter**. Might be worth testing if you tried everything else.
#### 7. **Call your ISP**
If it's been consistent for days and you're not downloading 10 things at once, tell your ISP to check routing or packet stability. Could be on their end.
#### Bonus: **CS2 Launch Options**
Try adding this:
```
-high -tickrate 128 -novid +fps_max 300
```
Helps with performance/stuttering — not directly net-related, but smooths things out.

And if u *did* almost break your mouse, respect, but maybe just take a 5 min break before u do a Logitech sacrifice ritual 🔥🖱️😂
Let me know if u want help checking your actual settings.
Glad u feel me on that — WiFi’s like that one teammate who hits shots sometimes, but disappears when it matters 😂
Ethernet? That’s the clutch god, always shows up.
And yeah, VPNs are underrated. ExitLag saved me from rage-quitting more than once.
Shoutout to all the gamers out here fighting their ISP harder than enemy team 😤
GGs and smooth ping to u, my dude 🫡
about the physics, there was a patch. i noticed the delayed calculations after the "fix" myself
is it legit ?
