We Need Better Anti-Cheat System :/

Alright, I think it's time we talk seriously about the elephant in the server — cheaters in CS2.

It’s honestly frustrating when you’re trying to enjoy a competitive match and suddenly you’re up against someone pre-firing corners like it’s a highlight reel or snapping onto heads through smokes like they’re playing with x-ray vision. We’ve all been there. And let’s be real — VAC just isn’t cutting it anymore.

CS2 is running on a new engine, it looks amazing, the shooting feels tighter, and skins are shining brighter than ever… but none of that matters when legit players are constantly getting ruined by rage hackers, spinbotters, or subtle aim-assisters who float just under the radar.

Why hasn’t a modern, server-side anti-cheat been implemented yet?
Why do we still need to rely on overwatch when it's clear that the volume of cheaters far outweighs what a volunteer system can handle? With the power of Source 2, shouldn’t we be able to have something like kernel-level detection or even machine learning systems like other games have introduced?

I know it’s not easy, but we deserve better protection for our time and competitive integrity. CS has been around for 20+ years — it’s legendary — but that legacy is getting tainted every time a blatant cheater ruins a match.

Please, Valve. We love this game. But we need you to love it enough to protect it.
