Counter-Strike 2: The Ultimate Skin-Collecting Simulator (Oh, and There's a Game Too... Kind Of)
Ah, Counter-Strike. My dear old friend. We've been through a lot together since 2006. From the golden days of CS 1.6, through the slightly more polished (but still rage-inducing) CSGO era, and now—CS2. A game that somehow manages to feel like a downgrade, despite having fancier lighting effects. Bravo, Valve, bravo!

Let's get straight to the point: The only thing improving in this game is the number of weapon skins I’ll never buy. The actual gameplay? Oh, that’s been tossed into the abyss and replaced with an endless parade of cheaters and game-breaking bugs. And the devs? Well, they're busy swimming in their Steam Market profits, occasionally throwing us a new case filled with shiny cosmetics, because hey, why fix the game when you can sell people a $500 digital butterfly knife?

Hackers? Ah, yes. Every other match feels like an AI vs. humans experiment where the AI is using premium-grade aimbots and wallhacks. Report system? Useless. Anti-cheat? More like pro-cheat, considering how long these guys stick around. But don’t worry! Valve has added another dragon-themed skin, so who even cares about fair play anymore?

Game mechanics? Oh, you mean the ones that haven’t changed in a decade? Movement feels worse, peeker’s advantage is all over the place, and hit registration is about as reliable as a politician’s promise. But hey, at least the smoke effects look prettier!

New maps? Slowest rollout in gaming history. But guess what? They finally added Train—a map so "optimized" that it instantly turns my game into a PowerPoint presentation and gets me auto-kicked before I can even buy a Glock. And before anyone says, "Maybe upgrade your PC," let me clarify—I can run high-end games like Squad and Far Cry 4 with zero issues, but CS2? Nah, it prefers to throw tantrums like a spoiled toddler whenever I try to load in.

Bugs? Oh, there are plenty. They just don’t get fixed. Instead, we get patches that somehow break even more things. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day, opening a loot case just uninstalls the game entirely—probably Valve’s way of telling us to move on.

In conclusion, CS2 is an incredible masterpiece... if you're here for the skins, the cheaters, and a game that runs worse than its 2012 predecessor. If you're here to actually play Counter-Strike, well, good luck, my friend. Maybe one day Valve will remember that this game is supposed to be fun. But until then, let’s all admire that new $200 pixelated M4 skin and pretend everything is fine.

Final Score: 2/10, but only because the cases look nice.

It's a good game it's not a skin simulator at all

Oh wow, what an insightful take! You really cracked the code there, Sherlock.

Listen, buddy, before you go defusing my argument like it’s a poorly planted bomb on B-site, maybe READ what I actually wrote. Nobody said CS2 is only a skin simulator. I said it feels like one because the devs care more about pumping out overpriced skins than actually fixing the game. There’s a difference.

Also, jumping to conclusions faster than a bunny-hopping speed demon isn’t a great look. You wouldn’t rush mid without checking corners first, right? So how about you apply that same logic here and actually process what you’re reading before making a bold statement?

Now, go queue up for another match—hopefully, this time, you’ll spot the problem before it headshots you. 😘

It's not a skin simulator it's a first person shooter.

You are hopeless. I finally understand—you don’t understand English *SIGH*
Let me break it down for you in the simplest terms possible: Yes, CS2 is a first-person shooter. But when the only thing getting regular updates is the skin market instead of the actual game, it starts feeling more like a glorified shopping app with occasional gunfights.
I could explain this further, but something tells me you’d still miss the point faster than a Silver whiffing an AWP shot. 🙃

Oh so you agree it's a first person shooter?
Why did you say it was a skin collecting simulator then?

What I'll say is get better in understanding English. Good luck chow-chow
I agree CSGO was so much better. CS2 is not bad but still a big downgrade... Wish we could just go back to CSGO.
