1800 cases no gold
over 30 days at random times of the day and night, opened 1800 cases with no gold, 5 reds, according to valve perfect world has .26% but really valve are the only one that knows that is the same % for normal steam users. but most people would have opened 4 golds by now. im using youtubers case openings and my own experiences as reference. i have never heard or experienced a drought like this. (hey moderators) in my opinion, valve may be tampering with accounts but nobody will never be able to prove it because users are unable to review software coding. last year around this time of year, i went on a 1500 opening drought. i dont believe its not a coincidence if its repeats. i think you cant be consistently this unlucky. its also usually after spending months opening cases that i will go on a drought. wouldn't you think its more impossible for me to be unlucky during this many random moments in a row than lucky once? think of it at different POV, so when youtubers open thousands of cases its over the course of a couple of days also, rarely within 24 hrs. they open at least 1 gold within 1k case or less but also what most influencers arent telling you is that they are doing it on more than 1 account. im only giving my personal experiences and i dont think its a conspiracy that valve has the ability to tamper with cases, btw valve use to make skins out of thin air back in 2015 when users would get scammed. if its not law or regulated by the state or a government valve can do whatever they want. before a moderator deletes this, read again, this isnt a witch hunt, nobody is telling people to hurt valve employees, i just want the truth from a company that went from nothing to billions because of its community and investors, btw the investors got a return, the community gets sort of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on, valve is not very innovative in my opinion, name the last product they made thats sold billions? the community has literally done everything for valve and we deserve the truth. after years of opening cases i believe its not .26% or that luck has anything to do with it, i have a hard time believing luck is programmable,RNG is a computation not a coincidence. also if no malcontent was intentionally created than why does valve cases trigger gambling addicts? did valve just accidentally create this? i seriously doubt it.

Well, I find that quite an unsportsmanlike remark! :steamsad: Remember, even in the heat of competition, we should treat each other with respect :steamhappy:.

Perhaps you could elaborate on what mathematical concept you believe requires further explanation? A true CS2 champion is always willing to learn and grow.

Look man I know how you feel, Yes they did hire people to target those who are easily manipulated in to buying and opening keys IE kids to adults. It is the same ♥♥♥♥ as what the tobacco companies did in adverts back in the day knowing that it was a cancer causing product.

What exactly are on you? Can you please stop being disrespectful towards a respected cs2 community members?

It's important to treat everyone with respect in the CS2 community, :steamhappy: regardless of their rank or experience.

Could you please clarify what you meant by "These all on me"? Perhaps we can understand each other better if you rephrase your statement. 🤔 Remember, clear communication is key to a positive gaming environment!

Many YouTubers had dry streaks as much as you. If you wanna get a khive, it’s better to buy it from steam market.

The chance to get a single gold item from 2000 cases is ~99.45%.
So you were unlucky enough to get into other ~0.55%.

Just like other people are lucky enough to get a gold item when they open their first 10 cases, which is basically a 2.5% chance.

And like has been said, if you want a knife, just buy it.
Gamble only in case you don't need these money and don't mind to lose it all.
Gambling for profit is the worst thing you could do in financial way.
tl dr version:
the house always wins.
this is why lootboxes are hated, because people like you generate so much profit for devs in hope of winning, and it motivates devs to shove such monetization practice into everything.

in cs source we had 8 player skins and free graffiti of any picture you wanted to upload,
in cs2 we don't have even map-themed player skins

meanwhile in left 4 dead 2 you can download any character skin or weapon skin from the workshop
congrats

1800 cases should require 1800 keys right? each key is $2, meaning you gave valve $3600, or money worth of 60 AAA games.

for $3600, this game costed you already, you should get an ultimate giga edition of a game with all content ever created for it, without any gambling involved
I bought elden ring and a dlc for a tiny fraction of money you spent. and I got the WHOLE AND COMPLETE game with hundreds of weapons and armors, with no strings attached.

You expect to win the lottery that easily?
They wouldn't give out gold even if you would open 5000 cases.
It is all random, maybe you shouldn't have opened so many all at once.
In gambling there are always huge loses and many people will lose.

If I were you I would just sell all skins, convert them to better quality and sell them. Then use the money earned through cs2 to buy games on steam when they are on sale.
