Will I regain my "hidden ELO" after a cheater gets banned in CS2?
Hello, in my last wingman match I met a cheater (a normal thing for CS2), that was using wallhack, causing me to lose the match (still managed to win 3 rounds though). This is 100% verified after analyzing the demo of the match. He got already reported both from my account and from steam report bots. And now I want to ask a question. If he somehow gets banned, will I regain my "hidden ELO" after it was lowered by a lot after the unfair match with the wallhacker? Losing a rank in a non-fair way would suck so I am asking.

Nope i dont think so there is such advanced system in implementation judging by the way cs2 devs work

the match won't be counted anymore as if it never happened.
though if it will only affect you rating if it was recently voided. if a few weeks go by and then they get banned it will have no affect on your current rating.

thanks for the answer. does this also happen after deranks? i mean if i derank lets say a game after the game with a cheater, and the cheater gets banned not long after, do i regain my previous rank, or i stay with the lower rank? (this is for mm, exactly wingman, not premier)
