CS2 Crashing My Entire PC (Black Screen) – Need Help
Hey everyone,

Lately, my PC completely crashes (black screen, forced reboot) every time I launch CS2. Here’s my setup:

GPU: RTX 4060 Ti
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700
Monitor: Acer Nitro XV272U P
I’ve already tried several fixes with no success:
✔ Reinstalled GPU drivers (including rolling back to a previous version)
✔ Reinstalled the game
✔ Launched with -autoconfig
✔ Checked for the latest monitor and GPU updates

The issue still persists. Any ideas or solutions I could try?
At this point, my PC crashes more often than Windows 98, and I’m starting to wonder if it’s trying to take early retirement… 😅

Thanks in advance for your help!

dead gfx card or bad mother board or ram your pc is getting put underpresure and a part of it cant take it or wont any more ive had issues like this before on old pcs
test your RAM integrity, open the "Run" dialog by pressing Windows key + R, type "mdsched" and press Enter; this will launch the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool, allowing you to choose to restart your computer immediately and check for RAM problems or schedule the test for the next startup.

Hello Pchuu, thanks for your reply! But is it safe? I know a bit about computers, but when it comes to GPU voltage, it's completely unknown territory for me —and I’d rather not burn my house down for CS2. 😅

UPDATE
I installed it, and when I launch it, here’s what I see in the monitor:

First value: 2535 MHz
Second value (probably RAM): 9000 MHz
Lightning icon: 0 mV
Temperature: 28°C
Does this look normal? and what i'm suppose to do next step? thanks a lot for yours answers !
