Is it just me, or are Premier Season 2 ranks inflated?

I haven’t unlocked my Season 2 rating yet, but from what I’ve seen, everyone seems to be about 5K higher than they should be. In Season 1, 20K+ rating was like top 1%, but now it’s nothing like that lol.

it's iffy, my irl friends who've got theirs are all within +/- 100 elo of their Season 1 ranks but then there's the cs friends and they used to be like 5-7k and now they're 15-20k.

It is not inflated just played differently on their calibrations

Damn Premier, I was aiming to push my limits, pass the 25K barrier, and get the Red Season 2 medal, but soloing it is insanely tough. I haven’t even passed the 20K barrier yet, lol.

When you mix griefer teammates, closet cheaters, and all that, it becomes a real pain in the ass. Let’s see how it goes.

from 10 matches i got closet cheaters in 10 and 0 on my team because we play 5 or 4 stack its impossibile to win these 15k pre aim and prefire better than lv 10 faceit

vacnet is the difference, in season 1 rage cheaters kept good players from getting their real ranks, and in turn it causes a trickle effect where they cause those under them to go down too. With rage cheating being detected now people can get the ranks they are meant to be at
