By itself? It's okay. I never played the previous entries, but it's very evident where this game fails. It really only exists to make money.

It depends. The core game is great, it's the best fps game on the market. Trust factor is a good system that separates bad actors from legitimate players, and it's pretty effective most of the time.
The problem is the amount of cheaters. If you queue low trust, you're guaranteed a full cheater game. There's no other game where cheating is so common.
Valve should really start banning cheaters again, instead of forcing legitimate players to play against them.
Not to even mention the predatory lootboxes, armory pass, etc.
