I'd like to see a no legs, no arms, small, slim player skin. Not gonna break the game at all, no advantage at peaking, or small shadows, or being able to always run at crouch level. Yeah.
Made me laugh.
Also, didnt an all-female pro team sign a petiton asking for the exact same thing (free female agents)?
While I respect the idea of adding a default female operator, it’s unnecessary and doesn’t impact gameplay. CS2 focuses on skill and strategy, not operator identity. Many games like Horizon, GTA 6, and Tomb Raider already heavily spotlight female leads, which feels like male protagonists are being excluded.
In CS2, players can already customize operators through skins, keeping the default neutral. Representation should be about balance, not shifting focus from one group to another, and this change risks unnecessary division.
Realistically what percentage of the player base do you think are women? Maybe 2-3% if that? Consider that half of the women don't even care about default models which probably more than half don't care. Then you are likely to have less than 1% of the player base actually give a ♥♥♥♥. Literally no benefit to valve doing this. Furthermore, I guarantee you that if valve did this more people would be pissed off than people who are happy considering the competitive nature of the game and the reasons I outlines above.
Women and men are different shapes, we have different body proportions, it wouldn't work with standard model hitboxes. Women have typically have smaller torsos, then playing a women model would have an unfair advantage. Can't have that in a competitive game.
Nothing to do with politics or sexism or any of that. It is ONLY for the reason of player model shape, it isn't personal it's mathematics and geometrics.
The woman expresses concerns about the lack of female representation in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). She notes that the default characters for both Counter-Terrorists (CT) and Terrorists (T) are male, and female players must pay to access female skins. This practice, she argues, penalizes women for wanting to play as their own gender, contributing to feelings of exclusion.
She highlights the broader issue of women being ostracized in gaming, sharing her personal experiences of discrimination and exclusion due to her gender, such as being kicked from games for using voice chat. She also points out the exclusionary language used by the male characters in the game, which further emphasizes male representation and neglects female presence.
Her main suggestion is to introduce a default female operator skin for either faction, similar to the existing male defaults. She supports the current market for customizable items but stresses the importance of free and inclusive representation for all genders. She believes this small addition could help foster greater inclusivity and show that the game’s developers value all players equally.
