Max rank difference

What is the current logic for the party rank difference? We couldn't que with a party where the lowest was 10300 and highest around 19800 so it's not clearly 10k. Anyone know?

and after that I assume one of your teammates left the lobby, so there were only 4 players and not 5, and thus you couldn't start searching for a game.

well it might be so but in such cases it just finds enemies with the same average rating as of your five stack
