aMD 7800 x3D and rtx 4080. i also undervolted my video card for a more stable performance less heat and noise
After several updates your files might get corrupted in the shader cache folder, just delete the folder. And your again good to go
Usually, Windows 11 was released to be "optimized" for Intel Big-Little CPU's (12th, 13th gen etc).
For Ryzen some patches have been released but I guess still buggy on certain configurations.
I tried everything. Is something hard to pinpoint and to record as it's basically random but more reproducible in Windows 11 than in Windows 10.
This is the problem. Is something... that happens usually and more aggressive in 11 than in 10.
Also, if you check these videos... you will see Windows 10 still has better performance.

Basically if you have Ryzen, just use Windows 10.
Always unbloat your Windows if you don't need the bloatware.
But for modern setups it makes basically zero difference. I get exactly the same performance out of unbloated fresh install of Windows compared to default non tinkered installation of Windows.
CS2 is super light and easy game to run if you have even remotely modern setup. There's actually no need for any tinkering in this case because you don't get any more frames, any more stability or any more anything - at least not according to benchmarks, hardware monitoring and my experience.
But take this with a grain of salt. Your mileage may vary depending on your setup, components, their age, drivers and everything else.
That's correct. But as i stated this is not FPS issue, it's just random / annoying frame spikes that only happen in Windows 11.
In 10 the game is way smoother and more consistent.
Even alt-tabbing in Windows 11 is a mess...
Note that I debloat all my Windows installs...
Noted. I was responding to lil Jewzi vert earlier, just forgot the quotations.
Happy holidays y'all.
Game is smooth as butter!
That's it for me.
Windows 10 until Oct. 2025 then I will probably forced to move to Windows 11 unfortunately.

Have you found a solution for this? For me it mostly happens / only on Windows 11
