CS2 TURNS OFF MY COMPUTER!!!! pls help

For some reason when I launch cs2 my computer turns off (if I open personal messages or console it happens instantly). At first I thought that the problem was in my computer, but when I went into more demanding games such as deadlock and metro exodus on high graphics settings nothing happened, and I was able to play these games calmly, but when I tried to play cs2 the computer crashed (although I play cs on low graphics settings). The problem appeared like this - today I played with friends in mm, after which we went to faceit, where after a knife round my computer turned off. I tried to check the integrity of the game files, but steam did not find anything there and said that all the files were correct. I also went into the game without faceit anti-cheat, but the problem still remained.

If the problem was that my computer couldn't handle the game or something broke, then other games wouldn't start either and the computer would turn off. But the thing is that the problem is only with cs2!

Try to uninstall all the faceit stuff, the anticheat and the client, restart the pc, launch CS2 again and see if it happens again or not.

If it doesn't, try just insulting your computer. It won't work usually, but it feels cathartic. I do it all the time.

Usually it's the faceit client that messes up somehow

Have you tried violence?
That sounds like it could be driver related or hardware failure related, start by checking your drivers and making sure all of them are up to date, you can also try removing your graphics driver and installing it fresh, if the problem continues try running various test tools for DISK, RAM, GPU, and CPU.

UNINSTALL EVERYTHING FROM FACE IT. THE CLIENT AND THE AC.

Bro, the solution to my problem is as stupid as possible - I simply changed the power supply of the system’s hard drive and the hard drive on which the cs was installed. Why there was a problem with CS, but not with any game (even with the unreal engine), still remains a mystery to me.

I'm glad you fixed it, but when you said other games run normally, I didn't even think to suggest that.

So weird, very weird, but then CS2 is made by valve.

Can you explain what you mean by saying you changed the power supply of the system's hard drive. Like you bought a new hard drive?

I have several wires coming from the power supply that feed the hard drives. But since I have 4 such wires for power and 2 drives, I can change the power supply for them. But after a while, I realized that the hard drive was gradually dying, and I had to buy a new one. After which I discovered that the power supply also started turning off the computer under any load, which is why I had to replace it. Now everything works great for me!
