Is CS2 worth playing ????

Hi so i have a lot of free time in coming months , is this game worth playing or should i play something else

The game is not in a good state and hasn't been for the last few years, if you aren't already addicted I'd suggest getting into a game where the developers actually care

CS2 maybe the best game in the world right now

the game is very good but a bit too barebones currently for casual fun and there is no moderation, so cheaters, griefers and just extremely toxic people in general run around rampant.

there's also this invisible system called "Trust Factor" in this game that makes everyone paranoid but it actually makes a difference in how much biological garbage you'll get in your matches, including casual game modes, and I can't estimate how "green" or "red" your Trust Factor will be.

so yeah everybody's experience is different and honestly nobody can tell you what yours will be. but for me personally it's… well, fine, both for casual and competitive play

I love this game but its community is horrible for the most part and nothing is done with it for years; if there were better anti-cheating measures and at least minimal chat (and gameplay) moderation it would've been one of the most ideal games for me

Until they fix the rampant wall cheats you are better off not wasting your time or money. You will find at least one in every session you play.

wellll that's what I was talking about, this person gets wallhackers every session, I get them rarer. everybody has different experience and there is no 100% objective way to track your Trust Factor, unlike in Dota 2 where you can see your exact Behavior Score and Politeness Score as a number between 1 and 12500 and you can observe it going up or down.

Nah the game is full of cheaters and scammers and cyber thief's better off to play call of duty black ops 6 or Battlefield 2042 in my opinion

after selling all of my inventory, i tried playing again today, after two matches, getting the weekly drops i just sold them, tried to play a third match, after two rounds of blatant wh and aim cheaters i just abandoned the match
