Repeated VAC “Irregular Gameplay” Cooldowns on Two Accounts — Possible False Positive

I am looking for help with repeated CS2 competitive cooldowns that I believe may be false positives.

Here is what happened:

My main account received a 20-hour competitive cooldown after VAC flagged my gameplay as irregular and canceled the match.

After the first cooldown expired, I played one match. During my second match, I received another cooldown, this time for 7 days.

Today, my second Steam account, which I use on the same PC, also received a 20-hour cooldown.

A friend I played with also received cooldowns around the same time.

Steam Support shows the reason as “Unexpected error.”

I verified the integrity of my CS2 game files, and the verification completed successfully.

I do not use cheats, macros, or game modifications.

I am worried because this has now affected both of my accounts, and I do not understand what is triggering these restrictions.

Has anyone experienced the same issue recently? Did your cooldowns stop, or did you find a possible cause?

I would especially appreciate it if someone from Valve or the CS2 development team could look into this pattern.

do you play ssg often ? if you buy ssg back to back for 3-4 rounds you'll get automatically banned

I basically only play SSG on Dust 2. I think I might accidentally aim at enemies through smokes or walls sometimes, and VAC Live bans me for that because the AI is still being developed.

bro there is a bug rn if you play ssg back to back for like 3 rounds you get banned dont play ssg until they fix it

на моем аккаунте также есть старый бан, но от EAC и другой игры
но при этом VAC меня никогда не банил. а тебя забанил. потому что ты играешь в кс софтом, а я без

I got a 20 hour and now a 7 day ban and I dont use SSG on Dust so its not that.

I think the problem is with the unfinished AI detection system.

Cooldowns stack. So if one expired and you have more cooldowns waiting, you'll get a stacked cooldown after the previous ends after your first match.

You get cooldowns for game misconduct now. So stop being toxic and your cooldowns will stop.

Read the new rules for game misconduct if you're not familiar with them yet.
