PSA: Premier Broken / False Positive VAC Cooldown (6K Hours)
6k hours, 12k matches. solo queue only, 18k rank.

Just a PSA to not play the game until this is fixed.

I have noticed since chicken update a decline in quality of premier matches overall, now this?

GG valve, pls fix

It's not broken. Enjoy the time off and I suggest reading the new rules of conduct before you get another cooldown.
i've read them, no i didn't break any of those rules. its for "irregular gameplay", the match ended after 4 rounds, ie false positive (i'm just that good i guess)

Everyone in the cancelled match gets the message that the match was cancelled because of irregular gameplay. Everyone in that cancelled match subsequently gets a 20 hour cooldown to make it exponentially more difficult for cheat developers and paid cheat testers to collaborate with each other over what part of their warez got caught by VACLive.
If you read them you wouldn't have a cooldown.

None. Everyone in your match got that message. Everyone in your match received the 20 hour cooldown. It helps make collaborative cheat testing much more difficult.

Like I think like everyone I understand that there are going to be False Positives, but when they fully roll this out and it goes straight to VAC Bans instead of cooldowns is it going to still have a bunch of False Positives, because I will say its annoying I have to wait 20hrs to play on a saturday.

It’s not issuing VAC Bans, friend. It’s simply issuing 20 hour cooldowns because that’s what VACNet does. The message is purposefully vague so it obfuscates who cheated from cheat developers, and everyone in the match gets that message and same 20 hour cooldown.

And just also understand it’s not a false positive. VACNet is using nearly a decade’s worth of Overwatch data to catch gameplay abnormalities. If you were issued the cooldown, it’s not an accusation of cheating against you. It’s simply telling you someone in the match got caught cheating.
volvo fix ur anticheat stop being so money hungry suing skin changers and not real cheats:steamsad:

If your match gets vaclive'd bc of a cheater you don't get a 20 hour cooldown unless you're in the party, not everyone in the match

What if both team have a detected cheater? Also, mind you several updates have gone by since September 28, 2026 so things could’ve been changed. I’m only queuing off of reports in the forums.

Doesn't matter if cheater is on your team, as long as you dont queue with them
