You have to cap your game fps at least on 1 fps lower than your monitor refresh rate, so if it is 144hz, u have to cap it at least on 143.
Because technology is: freesync / gsync automatically going off when fps is higher than refresh rate.
I9 Intel, 4080 Super, and 32. I have 240 hz and I have it capped at 239, It feels like i'm skipping a beat and i'll take extra steps, even though i'm stopped. It's just like stuttering or jittering. I have gsync and nsyc enabled. I also have 2 monitors set up; maybe that could be an issue, before I only had one. I am honestly just wondering why I'm having a hard time running it. I do get about 39-45 ping average on games; that could also be an issue as well, but I do have ethernet plugged in. Im getting the stutter while running or shooting or anything really. I know Train I've had the most issue with but I think its the rain; but even on workshop maps I'm still experiencing it.
But when you say done correctly, is there a wrong way to do it. 0.0
VAC = Valve Allows Cheats lmfao
frame rate is related to your hardware (stuttering/low framerates), ping/telemetry is your network (lagging & rubberbanding.
is your fps consistently at 239? if it's dropping frequently, the issue is within your pc.
turn on telemetry in the cs settings menu to check for packet loss or jitter spikes. if you are losing packets or have high jitter, the issue is with your network connection.
i have high jitter spikes, still looking for a solution.
Most of the time it's when an enemy peeks us.
(Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, though) But it is still mildly infuriating when it does.
Also, there's a LOT of new accounts used for cheating these past few games that we played.
I have it capped; its just cs2 that I have issues with stuttering; all the other games Its fine and I can run ultra to high settings; I honestly just think its the game; never had issues like this with csgo but cs2 is another story... I also think its mainly the internet and game. I even have it restricted and buffer to 2 packets; I've seen slight improvement but ultimately think its the game and wifi combined lol (thank you btw)
Oh yea always when I'm trying to peak too... True, its not consistent either; and I've heard that too; I don't even know if valve still vac people anymore. I just want to have a smooth game like original cs.
Yea I did the same; just nothing has improved; about to call wifi providers and try to get something better.
