what is overwatch in terms of cs?

Been banned for almost 100 days now, i was upset n stuff but idrc anymore since valve clearly doesnt care about the real idiots ruining the game.

What is overwatch? As in I got a game ban because of "Overwatch". They keep sending me the same copy paste thing but i wanna hear from someone that actually slightly cares. Like I said, a little late but it had me wondering recently.

overwatch is a system that allows a "jury" of selected users to view an anonymous replay of a part of a match to watch a specific individual to see if they are cheating or griefing.

if even one person who watched the match says the user wasn't doing anything the case is dismissed.

currently no known players have access to overwatch in cs2 or know really how it works, and it is simply speculated that it is currently being outsourced to a 3rd party company.
